Teaching with the Internet

Now that you're using the Internet, you may be looking for new ideas about integrating this technology into your teaching. Here are some resources that may be useful.

WNet School and Disney Learning Partnership: Concept to Classroom Workshops
"Why the Net? An Interactive Tool for the Classroom"
This online course begins with an introduction to the Internet, and then moves to a range of applications for using the Internet in your classroom.

The WebQuest Page
WebQuests are one model for teaching with the Web. Developed in 1995 at San Diego University by Bernie Dodge with Tom March, a WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. This site is a resource for using and developing WebQuests and includes examples, readings and training materials, opportunities for exchanging ideas, and more. Several of the Lesson Links in our Lesson Library are WebQuests that use Odyssey.
