Get Wrapped!

The Carlos Museum and the DeKalb County Public Library invite children to get wrapped up in books about the ancient world this summer. From Rick Riordan to Adèle Geras, contemporary authors continue to entrance young readers with stories from the ancient world!

Mummies, minotaurs, and myths of the Maya await children on the shelves of the Museum's Bookshop and the DeKalb County Public Library. Check out the great books about ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, and the ancient Americas. Read five books over the summer and the Carlos Museum will reward your effort! Print out the Summer Reading Diary (PDF-format) where you can list the books you read. When you complete five, bring the list to the Museum Bookshop and receive free admission to the Museum and a Greek Family Guide!
