Bacchanal 21: Farewell to the Flowers

Xochiquetzal, "Goddess of the Flowering Earth," celebrated during the Farewell to the Flowers festival. Poems composed, riutalistic dances danced, and the flowers' sweet scents were inhaled with the understanding they would soon wither and die. Then they feasted. Bacchanal 21: Farewell to the Flowers co-chairs, Khalilah Birdsong and Keith Radford invite you to indulge, dance, and feast for a cause on September 20, 2014.
