Landscape with Polyphemus

Etienne Baudet, 17th century
Engraving on paper

Treatment was undertaken to remove discolored self-adhesive tape from the upper edge of the paper. The brittle plastic carrier was carefully removed and the adhesive residue was reduced with solvents. The print was humidified and then dried under weight to relax planar distortions. The print was then hinged to an acid-free ragboard support with window mat.
