DIRECTIONS BY CAR
From North Atlanta
From north of the city, take I-85 South to the Clairmont Road exit. Turn left onto Clairmont and continue for 5-6 miles. (You will cross over Lavista Road and North Druid Hills Road.) When you get to North Decatur Road, turn right. Go approximately one-half mile until you reach a five-way intersection. (Everybody’s Pizza will be in front of you on the left.) At that intersection, turn right into the main gates of Emory University onto Dowman Drive. The Fishburne Parking Deck is located behind Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on Fishburne Drive, the first right turn off of Dowman Drive.
From 400, get off 400 at Sidney Marcus Boulevard exit and turn left onto Sidney Marcus Boulevard. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Buford Highway and get in the far right lane. At intersection of Buford Highway and Cheshire Bridge Road, turn right onto Cheshire Bridge. At intersection of Cheshire Bridge and LaVista, turn left onto LaVista. Follow LaVista to Briarcliff Road and turn right onto Briarcliff. Follow Briarcliff to Clifton Road and turn left onto Clifton Road. Proceed on Clifton Road until you come to North Decatur Road. When you get to North Decatur Road, turn right. Go approximately one-half mile until you reach a five-way intersection. (Everybody’s Pizza will be in front of you on the left.) At that intersection, turn right into the main gates of Emory University onto Dowman Drive. The Fishburne Parking Deck is located behind Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on Fishburne Drive, the first right turn off of Dowman Drive.
From South Atlanta
From south of the city, take I-75/85 North to the Freedom Parkway exit. Following signs to the Carter Center, bear right on the Parkway which will deadend into Moreland Avenue. Turn left on Moreland Avenue. Cross Ponce de Leon Avenue (Moreland Avenue becomes Briarcliff Road). The fourth traffic light after crossing Ponce de Leon will be the intersection of Briarcliff and North Decatur Road. Turn right onto North Decatur Road. Continue on North Decatur approximately 1/2 mile until you come to a five-way intersection. At that intersection, turn left into the main gates of Emory University onto Dowman Drive. The Fishburne Parking Deck is located behind Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on Fishburne Drive, the first right turn off of Dowman Drive after entering the Emory University gate.
From West Atlanta

Highway 78 to Lawrenceville Highway. Turn right onto North Decatur Road. Cross Clifton Road. At five-way intersection with Everybody's Pizza at left, turn right into the University. The Fishburne Parking Deck is located behind Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on Fishburne Drive, the first right turn off of Dowman Drive after entering the Emory Unversity gate.

Cars
The Carlos Museum is located on the main quadrangle of EmoryUniversity, near the university entrance on North Decatur Road at Oxford Road.Visitor Parking is available in the Fishburne Parking Deck off FishburneRoad or at the Peavine Parking Deck. When you enter from the North Decatur/Oxford Road entrance turn right to get to the Fishburne Parking Deck. Visitorsto campus should use visitor parking at Fishburne Deck or Peavine lots.
The Museum is a short walk from either parking location.Before 6 p.m. cars may park in the visitor level of the Fishburne Parking Deck off Fishburne Drive.Shuttle "D" runs from the Peavine Parking Deck weekdays every 10 minutes. After 6 p.m. free parking is available in any space on campus not reserved byan orange park or a handicapped sign. All visitors to the Emory Universitycampus pay parking before 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Parking on the weekend is freeto all visitors at Emory University in designated lots. Keep in mind that theEmory Police Department has the right to ticket on weekends – do not use spacesmarked for staff and faculty.
Buses
Buses should enter the campus by turning onto Fishburne Drive from Clifton Road. Proceed down the hill to the brick-paved bus drop-off zone. After dropping students off, buses should continue left on Fishburne Drive, then right at the stop sign. The Bus Parking zone will be visable on the left in front of Glenn Memorial Church.
Inclement weather
Buses or cars may turn right onto Fishburne Drive, bearing left onto S. Kilgo, and come up to the doors of the Museum to let children out; then follow the circle back around to the bus parking or visitor parking. SOUTH KILGO IS A ONE WAY STREET. Buses may not pass Fishburne Drive and try to turn right onto South Kilgo.
Handicapped
Reserved handicapped parking spaces are located on South Kilgo at the Plaza Level entrance to the Museum.
