Using Odyssey

Here you will find some tools and ideas for using the Odyssey Online site in your classroom.

Technical Needs:


Teachers are using Odyssey in a variety of ways:

• As an introduction to a social studies unit on one of the Odyssey cultures
• As a way of introducing the Web as a resource and becoming familiar with Web navigation
• As a resource for student research
• Displayed with a projector for class group discussion
• Used by students individually or in small groups in a classroom "center"
• As a resource for class presentations using programs such as Power Point
