#14 Social Institutions: Explains how social institutions influence the attitudes and behavior of people.

#18 Location: Identifies and locates regions in the Americas, Europe and Oceania.

#24 Ethnic Groups: Identifies various ethnic groups found in the regions of the Americas, Europe and Oceania and describes the impact on the development of the selected regions by these groups (e.g., linguistic patterns and cultural contributions)

#26 Economic Activity: Explains how people in all economic systems engage in certain basic economic activities.

#27 Historical development: Outlines the important historical developments of the regions of the Americas, Europe and Oceania and demonstrates how geographic factors have influenced events and conditions in the past.

#29 Social and Cultural Diversity: Categorizes the important social and cultural developments of the Americas, Europe and Oceania.

#32 Social Institutions: Explains how the social institutions influence the attitudes and behavior of people.

#35 Technological Advancements: Describes how major technological advancements have contributed to the standard of living of each region and how this affects access to, and use of, resources.

#37 Information Processing: Analyzes artifacts.

#40 Information Processing: Analyzes information from two or more sources for agreements, contradictions, facts and opinions.

#2 Civilization, Cultural Development, Continuity and Change: Identifies and discusses the characteristics and contributions of the early civilizations of the Middle East and Africa.

#3 Cultural Development, Individuals and History: Identifies the characteristics of the classical civilizations in China, India, Greece and Rome.

#7 Civilization, Cultural Development, Continuity and Change: Analyzes the religious, political and economic systems, and cultural contributions of Sub-Saharan Africa.

#18 Imperialism, Individuals and History: Traces the spread of imperialism into Asia and Africa.
