To requestion additional information about a specific object or to request permission to publish images of objects in the collection, please email MCCM.Collections.Services@emory.edu 

• If you would like a Carlos Museum handbook that contains color photography of highlighted objects in a gallery-guide format, please contact our Bookshop. Phone: 404-727-0509 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, EST. Handbooks are $9.95. You also may fax an order to: 404-727-4292 or e-mail to: mburell@emory.edu.

• If you have a question about an artist, art history, archaeology, or architecture, please our Bookshop for hundreds of titles on these subjects.

•If you have a question about the value of an art object or authentication of an object, please contact a certified appraiser in your area.

• For information on architect Michael Graves, the designer of the Museum building, there are numerous books on the man and his architecture in bookstores and libraries. The offices of Michael Graves & Associates are located in Princeton, NJ.

• The Museum's name comes from the late Atlanta entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael C. Carlos, who was, until his death in 2002, the Chairman of the Board and CEO of National Distributing Company, Inc., an Atlanta business.
