HOURS

Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday 12 noon - 5 p.m.
(Closed on Mondays and university holidays)

The museum will be closed:

Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th, and will reopen Saturday, November 25th, 2017

Monday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 26th, 2017, and will reopen Wednesday, December 27th, 2017.

Friday, December 29th, Saturday, December 30th, Sunday, December 31st, and Monday, January 1st.  The museum will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018.


PUBLIC TOURS: Sundays at 2:00 p.m. excluding major holidays.

Adults: 
$8
Students, Seniors, and Children (ages 6-17): $6 (Children ages 5 and under free)
Carlos Museum Members: Free - Become a member
Emory University Students, Faculty, and Staff: Free with Emory ID
Audio guide rental: $2
Group tours: Groups of over ten people may request a group tour. Please submit the Tour Request Form at least two weeks in advance of the tour date you are requesting.

HUNDRED FREE ADMISSION DAYS

In 2019 the Carlos Museum will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its formal founding at Emory University’s Atlanta campus. The Museum is planning a series of exhibitions, programs, and special events as part of the centennial year and 100 free days to celebrate this important milestone. These free admission days, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., are scheduled between now and 2019 as a way to thank the community whose support has played such a significant role in the story of the Museum’s success.

FRONT DESK CHECK IN: Check all large bags, backpacks, umbrellas, strollers and purses over 13 inches square at the first floor information desk. The museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
