Preschool children visit the Carlos galleries to hear children’s literature related to the collections and exhibitions, look closely at a single work of art together, then head to the studio for an engaging hands-on activity.
This free program is available for preschool classes on Monday mornings at 10 AM when the museum is closed to the general public, offering a special environment for young children to experience art, literacy, and cultures from around the globe. Every child receives a copy of the book to take home.
- There is a maximum of 22 children per group.
- One chaperone is required for every five children.
- If your group has special needs, please call to discuss possible adjustments to the program.
- Space is limited, so please sign up early to reserve a space for your class.
