Frequently Asked Questions

 

When will I receive my digital membership cards?

Once your membership payment has been processed, you will receive an email from carlosmembership@carlos.emory.edu that contains the link for you to download your membership card (approximately 10 business days).

How do I download my membership card to my Apple Device?

 

  • iPhones have a native app called Apple Wallet. Click the “Download” link in the email you received on your iPhone, then “Add to Wallet”, then “Add”. Your digital membership card will automatically download to the Apple Wallet app.
  • To access the digital wallet, swipe down on your home screen to activate the Search function. Type “Wallet” into the search bar. Then, tap the Wallet icon that appears under the “Applications” header. From there, you will be able to access your digital card.
How do I download my membership card to my Android Device?

 

  • If you have an Android device, you need to download Wallet Passes from Google Play. After you have the app, access the email from your smartphone and click the “Download” link in the membership email, and the card will automatically go to your Wallet Passes app, where it can be accessed at any time.

 

I downloaded my card, but I cannot find it
  • For apple users, please check the Apple wallet app.

  • For android users, please check your Wallet Passes app.

My family member is on this membership account as well. How can they receive the digital card

Once you have downloaded your card, you will be able to forward the email or use the share feature of the wallet app to ensure that secondary cardholders receive their digital membership card.

How can I use my digital membership card to redeem my guest passes?

If you have paper guest passes, please continue to use them. They never expire. Guest passes can be used via a will call system. Please email carlosmembership@emory.edu to redeem your guest passes.

How can I use my digital membership card to redeem my reciprocal museum benefits?

Your digital membership card will indicate your reciprocal museum benefits. Showing your digital card will allow you to access your benefits at affiliated institutions.

Will my digital card update when I renew my membership?

When you renew your membership, digital cards will automatically update. If your membership level changes, a new card will be emailed for you to download.

What if I prefer a physical membership card?

By default, all members will receive digital membership cards. However, physical cards can still be mailed if requested. If you would like a physical card, please contact carlosmembership@emory.edu or fill out this online form.

I do not have a mobile phone, what can I do?

Physical cards are available upon request. If you would like a physical card, please contact carlosmembership@emory.edu or fill out this online form

I am not sure I received my digital card. Can you send it again?

Please contact carlosmembership@emory.edu with questions regarding your digital membership card. Be sure to include the email address to which you would like to receive your card.
